The Granada Card is the official tourist card of Granada, which gives visitors free entry to numerous sights, especially the famous Alhambra, as well as free use of public transport.

Granada Card: What is included?

With a validity period of 48 hours, you can visit 12 sights and museums free of charge. If the City Card is valid for 72 hours, there are even 17 attractions and museums. The Granada Card includes the following attractions, among others:

With the 72-hour valid Granada Card the following sights are added: Corral del Carbón, Bañuelo, Casa del Horno del oro, Casas del Chapiz, Dar Al-horra Palace.

The Granada Card entitles you to 9 journeys on the city buses. The bus tickets must be collected separately from special ticket machines. These are located at four bus stops in the city:

  • Gran Vía 7 - Catedral
  • Gran Vía 4 - Catedral
  • Acera del Darro 8 - Puerta Real
  • Acera del Casino 5 - Puerta Real

To collect your bus tickets, you will need the "LOC BUS" code on your digital ticket. You must enter this at the ticket machine.

The bus tickets can be collected up to two days before the start date of the Granada Card, but are only valid from the activation date of the card (after the Alhambra visit). You can then use the buses for 48 or 72 hours.

Before each bus journey, you must validate your ticket at the ticket validators at the bus stops or on the buses.

How to make optimum use of the Granada Card

  • When purchasing the card, carefully select the date and time for your visit to the Alhambra. This activates the card and starts the validity period of 48 or 72 hours.

  • Use the tourist train ride to get an overview of the city, ideally at the beginning of your stay

  • Plan your visits, as each attraction can only be visited once. Take opening times into account and spread your visits over the validity period.
