How the Valencia Tourist Card works

The Valencia Tourist Card is a discount card issued by the city of Valencia that gives you free entry to the city's museums and monuments, as well as discounts on the main tourist attractions.

The City Card is available in two variants:

  • Valencia 24, 48 or 72 hour Tourist Card: with this card you can also use local transport free of charge.
  • Valencia 7 days Tourist Card without use of public transport

The Valencia Tourist Card can be purchased with a validity period of 24 to 72 hours and offers the following advantages, among others:

The first time you use public transport or an attraction, the Valencia Tourist Card is activated and is then valid for 24, 48 or 72 hours, depending on the option booked.


Who is the Valencia Tourist Card suitable for?

The Valencia Tourist Card is particularly suitable for travellers who are staying in Valencia for a longer period of time and are planning a lot of activities. The City Card pays off more quickly, especially for more expensive offers such as city tours.


How much does the Valencia Tourist Card cost?

The price of the Valencia Tourist Card depends on the period of validity. The following prices are currently valid for people aged 13 and over:

  • 24 hours: 15,-€
  • 48 hours: 20,-€
  • 72 hours: 25,-€

Children from 6 to 12 years receive a discount of 15% on the price of an adult card. Children under 6 years of age do not need their own City Card, as they also receive free or reduced admission to attractions and can use local transport free of charge without a card.

Public transport with the Valencia Tourist Card

With the Valencia Tourist Card you can use all public transport in Valencia free of charge:

  • Urban buses (EMT)
  • City buses (Metrobus) Zone AB
  • Metro and tram zone AB and trips to the airport in zone C
  • Local trains zone AB (Renfe)

This way you can easily reach your accommodation, the beach, the most important sights and the airport.

Depending on the period of validity of your Valencia Tourist Card, you can use public transport for 24, 48 or 72 hours. When boarding a public transport vehicle, insert the card through the validation machine. If you have not done so, you may be fined up to €50 if you are checked.

Buy & Collect Valencia Tourist Card

The Valencia Tourist Card is available online from various suppliers - for example from Tiqets.com. You will receive a voucher for your smartphone after purchase, which you must then exchange for a physical card in Valencia. You can do this at the Valencia Tourist Info office in the arrival hall of the airport (Manises) or at any tourist information centre in the city.
